Kylee, you are 2 1/2 years old and are so much fun! You love the Disney princesses and each day you let us know which one you are. Today you are Cinderella. Yesterday you were Belle. You love to drink 'pink milk', which is usually strawberry milk unless we are lazy and just give you milk in a pink cup (which you are just as happy with!) You have just seriously started potty training. You have been accident free for about 2 days which is very exciting for me. You even went to Bible class in your Ariel panties today. You love your new pink potty and sometimes bring it into the living room to sit on while you watch a movie. You are very strong willed and really don't think that you are a child. You think that what you say goes. You have precious curly pig tails (most days) that bounce around when you tilt your little head and talk. You love your big cousin Mallory Sinquefield (and you call her Mallory Sinquefield every time you talk about her) and your little cousin Lynlee Rose. And you love your baby sister Kenna Mae. You usually call her Kenna Mae but also refer to her as Sissie or Sissie Mae. You come and tell me every time Kenna is crying (even if I am holding her). You consider that one of your very important jobs. You are also very honest. Friday, Lynlee was over playing and you came and told me, "momma, I pushed Lynlee." And you proudly come and announce when you have an accident, "momma, I tee-teed on Ariel, Ariel's so sad." Pops is worried about when you learn about lying. He thinks you will be quite a challenge at that point. You are very smart and you pick up on things that adults say around you very easily. You know your colors and shapes (mostly) and can recognize the letters in KYLEE JEANNE. But only in upper case. The other day I showed you a lower case e and you just very firmly and confidently said, "no, momma, that's not an e." You can do a lot of 'errands' for me around the house. You can throw away a diaper or bring me a clean one for Kenna, you can pick out your own gown at bedtime, you have a shoe basket by the door and you pick out the shoes you want to wear when we leave the house, you can put Kenna's bottles in the sink, you can put your dirty clothes in the washing machine, you put up your clean clothes after they are folded, and many other things. But if you don't feel like helping you tell me that your 'hands are busy.' That started because if you wanted me to hold something for you, like your pink milk, and I was holding Kenna or giving her a bottle I would tell you to put it on the table because my hands were busy. So you say your hands are busy whenever you don't want to do something. We have to work on that. There are just so many fun/funny things about you that I can't write them all just yet. But there will be much more to come. Here is one story for this week.
The other day when I first really tried to work on potty training you with little success (probably close to 10 accidents that day), you were standing at the coffee table and looked up and said (very proudly), "momma, I tee-teed on Ariel." So we went to the bathroom and you sat on the potty while I got you yet another outfit to put on. After you were finished, I told you to go get some panties to put on and you said,"no." As I walked closer to you (you were facing away from me at the coffee table) I could hear you chanting, "I told you no, I told you no..." You got a pretty big spanking for that. And you were pretty devastated. Sometimes I really don't know what to do with you!
Kenna, you are 8 months old today and are such a joy. You are a very content and happy baby. You love to be held and can be quite dramatic when you are put down to play. You have these big blue eyes (and Gran is amazed at how rarely you blink) and you are very aware of everything that is going on. You haven't quite mastered crawling but would prefer to be standing. If there is something around to pull up on to are much happier. I love your smile when I walk into the room. You get so excited and your arms reach out for me like a big hug. You love to travel from one standing person to the next and back again. You never took a pacifier but suck on your first two fingers. It is really cute. If you are upset you can calm yourself down by sucking on your fingers. If you are trying to crawl from one spot to another you will stop every few seconds and lay down to suck on your fingers. Then you get back up to crawl some more. You will crawl towards the remote control or a cell phone but your favorite thing to crawl to is Kylee's pink milk. You love your big sister but sometimes get a little tired of her hugs. When she hugs you she gets a little over-excited and you will look over at me with this look of desperation like you are begging me to save you. You have just recently started to put your fingers in my mouth whenever I talk to you and you think it is so funny. And you also love hair! This morning you got a handful of Mallory's hair as we were walking out of church. She screamed and you had a huge smile on your face. You talk quite a bit, just like your sister. We can't go anywhere without someone commenting on how cute you are, especially your big eyes and your great cheeks. You are often compared to a china doll. And you smile at almost anyone. If someone is holding you that you are not quite comfortable with, you will smile sweetly and just reach back for me. Almost like you are trying not to hurt their feelings. You are definitely a snuggler. You still sleep in our room in the cradle but usually end up in bed with us after your first bottle. You will lay between us but usually roll towards your dad and in the morning he is barely on the bed because you have snuggled up to him and pushed him over. Kylee ends up in the bed too and the two of you wake up so happily together. You coo at her to wake her up and she talks to you so sweetly. The mornings when we lay in bed and play are great. I love you so much and enjoy you more than I could say.

I enjoyed this so much. I love these girls dearly and miss them as well as Lynlee and Mallory. Thank you for writing these sweet memories, Love ya! Mom (Gran)
It is sweet to relive the momets. Mallory loves ALL of her cusins. Even if they pull her hair. It is fun to walk in your house and both girls smile and try to get to me. It is sad to leve Kylee after she says " I wont to go with you". It braks my heart every time. On the other hand it is fun to take her. Love, Aunt Becky
